Together Foundation was founded in 2015. It is a registered public charitable trust that strives to create a better world for people with autism. Together Foundation was co-founded by Chakrapani and Sangeetha; parents of two adults with autism. The trustees of the organisation include medical and allied professionals in the field of disabilities.
Together Foundation runs a sheltered workshop for adults with autism and other intellectual disabilities in Mumbai. The workshop offers training in data entry for financial institutions, paper plate manufacturing, paper bag manufacturing, hand embroidering, job work and shop management.
Together Foundation has now partnered with Vedaanta Senior Living to establish The Together Community: a community for people with autism, their friends and families in Bengaluru.
Vedaanta is a reputed senior care company providing senior living facilities and care for seniors across multiple locations in South India like Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hosur and Cochin.
Vedaanta Senior Living will provide services at The Together Community towards caregiving, F&B, housekeeping, security, primary medical facility and overall maintenance of The Together Community for parents and special adults
